Hello Fellow Fishies!

I am hosting an international student at the moment and she is interested in seeing some specific concerts while she is here in Toronto. She has asked me to locate the cheapest tickets possible for the following concerts, so I told her she is in good hands with me and my fellow fishies here in the bowl. Maybe promotional codes from various radio stations offering a discount for tickets, etc?

Here are the concerts she's interested in seeing in Toronto during the next couple months:

~Maroon 5

~Aerosmith

~Coldplay

~Keane (have no idea who this is??!) LOL


**So, if anyone has any insdie info on cheap tickets for these concerts - please let me know!

I think your chances are pretty slim for finding "cheap tickets" for these popular acts. I'd think that you'd be looking at MINIMUM $35 and up for the smaller acts, and more for big bands like Aerosmith.

To get an idea as to how much tickets might cost -- in general, the bigger the venue, the more $$ it will be.

The only thing I can suggest is to pay attention to all the local popular radio stations for ticket contests as well as places like MuchMusic/MTV.

There is no such thing as discount tickets/codes for big names like these. None of these guys have any trouble filling the stands.

-The tour date for Keane (alternative rock group) has been indefinitely postponed because the lead singer went to rehab, so she's out of luck there.
-Maroon5 will cost about 60$+tax cheapest
-Aerosmith will run 70$ for the cheapest seat or 33$ for a space on the lawn (plus taxes)
-I wasn't aware Coldplay was going to Toronto again any time soon??

The only way to get cheaper tickets is to win a contest.
