I sent an e-mail to Pantene. I love their shampoo and conditioner and I want to try the smoothing gel but it's too expensive to buy and find out I don't like it, so I asked it they had any samples of it and the wrote back saying:

First freebie this week! The nice Lancome stuff! That is a great freebie!

Today I got the Lancome stuff,Billy Graham bookmark,Sunmaid raisin recipe book & a letter from Coca-Cola with 2 coupons for 12 cans of Coke.{I complained quite awhile ago & kept complaining----even went to Planetfeedback.They finally sent me a letter today}

Today I recieved a sample of 4 Playtex Tampons, from entry in a contest on Much Music. That's all

Got the Save.ca coupons and coffee samples, also got the 4 playtex corks sample , the bible bookmark (kind of neat) a friend took me to Premier of Austin Powers Goldmember Movie last night and I got a visor and some bubble necklaces so that was cool!

Still waiting for the CBC shirt, clock, cookie cutters, cookies, eagle ministry, etc......

I can't believe this ... Thursday already and I haven't received a single freebie for over a week now!! And to top it all off, I just realized today that, for some unknown reason, I NEVER get mail on Thursdays!
STILL waiting for the CBC shirt. I emailed them a couple weeks ago and they said they're trying to get the tshirts out ASAP, but the response was overwhelming so it's taking longer than anticipated.

today was a blankie so far...bookmark (it was nice tho...a little scary looking) and yesterday posters, notebook. t'is an empty morn. hopefully some more stuff tomorrow! ever since i started the freebie obsession i haven't gone a day without an envelope. even though most aren't samples, but still. i never got mail, so i did the freebie thing and signed up for everybody's mailing list at the art show. hee hee. anyway.

oh yes....and i got the call about winning the planner! (see contest wins thread) which was very great!

Today I got more Duwop samples. I only signed up for them once Last time was the lip venom and a tiny glob of revolution med moisturizer/sheer body makeup, this time was the Igels and a much more generous dollop of a different shade of the revolution med!! I'm sure not complaining!

Oh yes, and I called the 1-877# regarding the dixie plates... the line is now for some carlson wagonlift signature vacations every card is a winner hotline or something like that. I asked about the dixie plates offer and was told that the promotion is over, and that it was only for the Barrie, Ontario area. So I called the 1-800# regarding the same dixie plates promotion and asked about the dixie plates again, thinking that it may have been a different offer, and apparently it was the same operator... she asked "didn't I just speak to you on the other line?" OOPS!

Oh yes, and I'd also like to know what this new promotion is all about, but don't want to call again in case I get the same operator again (even though they can't see me, it's still embarassing) So if anyone else wants to call, preferably from the Barrie, Ontario or surrounding areas (seeing as the dixie line was for that area) and find out what it's all about, it would be greatly appreciated. Please ask if it's for all of canada! Here's the numbers again:

I sent an e-mail to Georgia Pacific which is the company who owns Dixie, and they told me to call the original number back. I did, but kept getting an answering machine, with the same message re the other promotion. I left my name and number and a lady just called me back.
Apparently the Dixie offer started near the end of May, and they stopped after they reached 1700 requests, which was on June 6th. The offer was only open to residents of Oshawa, Courtice, and Barrie Ontario. But they ended up getting request from all over Canada. She told me I must have signed up after that date, which I think is crap, but because I live in Oshawa, and it was actually the test area she has graciously decided to send me some out, which were returned from others they sent out previously. I told her that I knew many people from accross Canada who got them, and if it was for my area, why didn't I get it. That's when she decided to send me some along with some coupons. She was very nice too. to Dixie, or at least the lady I dealt with.

The only thing that came in today was a bookmark.

the past week or so hasn't been so good for freebies. mainly brochures from daytona beach, a couple small things i cant remember but today brought me my box of cookies from dare. very tasty
