I'm looking for a place in .ca that sells the Happ parts for arcade machines - I am building my own PS2 arcade style controller since all the ones out there are either crap or way overpriced. Anyhoo it would be great if anyone knows of such a company.. So far I've found a US guy that sells em but he only deals in money orders for international orders, which sounds like a big hassle.

http://www.xgaming.com/dev/index.htm has got some nice one pre-built ones. $100US though... but considering the time it'll take you to order and assemble it yourself it'd have to be a pet project I assume?

www.a-power.com has them listed on their site out of Vancouver.

That's the only site I have seen Xgamer stuff listed. Other sites may be able to get stuff for you if you don't like a-power but you have to ask. Sounds like good stuff.

Yah I was drooling over the x-arcade stick the other day.. but too dang pricey! Would be a fun project too I think.. my plan is to just take apart a cheapo ps2 controller and solder the contacts to the new buttons etc.. Then get the ps2->xbox adapter so I can use it on both systems!

I've bought parts from http://www.pinballexchange.com/ located in Oakville. They stock both new and used equipment along with used arcade and pinball games. I think its $3.95 per button ($3 each for 6 or more), $22 for a new stick, although I don't know what kind. I bought stuff from them, nice people.

You could also try http://www.starburstcoin.com/ on Kipling in Toronto, I've heard they stock a lot of stuff. They also hold frequent auctions for arcade and pinball games.
