Does anyone have internet explorer 7?

I just downloaded it the other day, and I am getting "pop up" for lack of a better description. Its like a connection box it flashes on my screen once every few minutes, its annoying and I don't know how to stop it.

I also seem to be havving problems closing some programs, I get error messages, where I didn't before.

Any suggestions?

I downloaded it and got rid of it within hours. It drove me nuts. No help, I realize, but that's my post about IE7.

Ditto, I couldn't stand 7, went and uninstalled it and got my 6 back, lots of problems for me when I got it.

I have IE 7 and it works fine for me. Not sure what your problem could be. Sorry.

I also down loaded it and am having no problems.sorry no help.

I downloaded 7 because all of a sudden I was having problems accessing surveys for Pinecone & they told me I had to have at least 6.5 for the surveys to work properly, in spite of the fact that I have been using AOL until now. After I downloaded 7 I got LOTS of pop ups but after running Ad-Aware most of them have stopped.

I HATE Internet Explorer and would much prefer not to have it, but some things only work on it so I guess I am stuck with it.

I hate using EI i only use FoxFire i find it cleaner and faster

If you click on the Firefox graphic it will take you to a download site where you can get it for free. Firefox has improved greatly since the early days but for the few sites that don't play nice with Firefox, there are two alternatives:
1. You can use IE for them only (but yeah, it's a pain.)
2. Better still, get the IE Tab or IE View add-ons for Firefox so you can open those pages from within Firefox using IE's rendering engine.

I've unfortunately had nothing but problems with FireFox. It was horribly unstable, would crash all the time, and was a complete resource hog. I realize that sounds like I'm describing IE, but FireFox made it look amazing in comparison.

Perhaps I'll try again now that FF2.0 is out, but I'm not holding my breath. IE7 is great!

Well I deleted IEI7 and am now using IE6 again working much better, mybe I will try again sometime lol
