There was a shooting at LA international airport a little while ago. Not a lot of info yet, but two people are dead (including the shooter).

Two people were killed and another two wounded Thursday after gunfire erupted at Los Angeles International Airport near the ticket counter of Israeli national airline El Al. Police spokesman Alex Baez told Associated Press that one of the two killed was the gunman. Witness Thad Weimlein told CNN that eight to 10 shots rang out inside the Tom Bradley international terminal at about 11:30 am local time. CNN reported that an El Al security guard shot and killed the gunman. The terminal was evacuated and traffic leading into the area has been stopped. Another witness, Josef Bootski, described the gunman as a white male with a ponytail. Bootski told CNN the man was yelling "'why'd he take my job?'" as he opened fire.

That employee chose a fine day to be disgruntled.

Why can't these people just take a long walk off a short pier. They always seem to take out the wrong people, the innocent bystander, their even more innocent children. It saddens me when these incidents happen.

3 people dead now

Apparently now there were 3 dead and 3 injured, one of them a security guard who was stabbed. So that means there is someone else out there who helped.

What was reported was that the gunman had a couple of guns on him as well as a hunting knife. He was the one that stabbed the El Al security guard...

Thought they said security guard got stabbed after he shot suspect? Oh well, not the first time it was wrong info.
