I really wanted to get either a treadmill or an elliptical trainer, but the price for anything quality is too expensive and I prefer to buy other things instead (such as a new pc).

Where is the best place to get one? I saw Canadian tire has a nice magnetic looking one for 200$. Any other places I should consider or look for these? Since shipping is expensive to order, I'd prefer either free shipping or fixed shipping sites if you have some.

I'm looking for something a bit more high tech, we had an old one and it was cruddly...

I was hoping for more suggestions, guess people have treadmills more than bikes these days so I'll check out Canadian Tire

Why buy something that is crap?

Spend a few more bucks and get something a bit better that will not break.. Sears has some good sales, usually you can save 100-200 dollars. From them a good elliptical trainer on sales would be 400-500 dollars, or 1000-1200 for a treadmill.

In the fitness world a good version of either would cost a few grand more. But it would be much more durable..

If you buy just based on a low price you will just be disapointed in the quality of the product. And probably not use it.. Better off buying a gym membership and using there quailty equipment..

Or, try a yard sale.. Who knows what you will find..
