Orzo (rice shaped pasta) with lemon juice, butter, salt & pepper with grilled or sauteed shrimp (from a cheap shrimp ring).

Not only cheap, but only takes a few minutes to make!

I do curry chicken soup.
I put a ton of curry powder, some chili flakes, cumin seeds & s&p in a pot with a few chicken bricks (bouillon cubes) a bunch of frozen veggies (I like the PC beta blend broc, caul & carrots) some pasta & I hack up a chicken breast or two to throw in.
I like it better without the chicken, I try to pick the chicken pieces out...& that would make it cheaper too I guess!

I also make "Kelly macaroni" It's kinda gross but I love it!
I get fusilli or penne & I cook it up & add a spoonful of butter a bit of milk (I usually use soy) & (depending on how much I'm making) a whole or half tub of Philly cream cheese & lots of fresh ground pepper! I'm sure if I made it too often Hubby & I would die of heart attacks...

Oh & I make pasta with Classico spinach sauce & I put a big fat spoonful (or 2!) of ricotta in the bowl & stir it around! Yum!

scored today on canned soups - the Disney canned chicken noodle (and vegetable) soups are on sale at FoodBasics for 58 cents per can - I had a bunch of 50 cent off coupons I grabbed from A&P the day before - got 10 cans of soup for 80 cents!

Will give some to my sis as my niece will love the Shrek, Pooh and Disney Princess noodles

I scored huge on Lysol products

Lysol on their spray disinfectant has $2 off coupons, but if you read them, they said off ANY lysol product... well then didn't Walmart have a sale on their lysol wipes and toilet bowl cleaners... and put them on for $2!! So you guessed it I staked up big time!!

I got 6 lysol products (usually for $4.99) and all I had to do was pay the tax!

It came to $1.30 I think... so I went back a second time too! At first they questioned if I could do this and even called the manager... who of course realized that I was doing nothing wrong and told the entire staff that it was ok.

happy hunting!

Thanks Denise!

Plus I have one more for vinager!! I use it and swear by it... if you are out of expensive air freshners or don't want to spend the money on them to begin with... place a cup with vinager in it in smelly areas... ie Kitty litter (I swear by this one), kitchen, bathroom, basement ect... the vinager absorbs the smell and leaves a clean smell in it's place... also if you can hid the cup of vinager in the room you can just simiply leave it there... the vinager will evaporate on it own and then you can replace it.

Try it, you might be surprised!

Radiogirl
