This happens to many people. They only send you e-mails with survey links if they want your demographic. I think bowl members have the mistaken impression that they take everyone because you read a number of posts by people who get surveys and cheques. The majority don't post because they haven't gotten the cheques or surveys. This gives the false impression that more people are accepted than really are.
I was recently reading in a survey forum ( a US site) on the web that they are most likely to respond to you if you are in twenties (especially 20-25) and have very young children, and if you live in specific urban centers. This can change, though, if they have different products they need to evaluate.
My understanding is that they won't accept multiple submissions, so it could well jeopardize any chance you have of getting a survey.
Frankly, they are only interested in certain, specific people who have the traits they are looking for. It doesn't matter how many times you try, if they don't want anyone in your statistical group they will not contact you.
