I got a call from Fun For Life in regards to a contest I entered for a $25K gas card. The draw is held in June, but I've qualified for another prize and I have to go to see if I've qualified for one of 5 prizes: two all-inclusive trips, two accomodations (no airfare) or a 52" plasma. It's one of those things where I can't go alone to pick it up, they said that my husband has to come too, but I can't bring my 6 mth old son. That's why I think this may be a waste of my time, but he explicitly said that they are not a time share

Has anyone been contacted by Fun for Life? The office is in Mississauga, ON and the phone number on call display is 905-361-1438 (but they said that I have to RSVP to 905-502-1366 x235.) I googled them, but I can only find a company based out of the UK.

Any thoughts on whether this is legit?

More often that not, it seems prizes of trips without airfare are not from "pure" or legitimate contests...most likely a scam...

Hmmm, if they said you could come by yourself or no problem with the baby, I wouldn't even think twice. Seeing that they put stipulations I would be cautious. Sounds like they are probably going to try and sell you something and they are probably very aggressive. If you decide to go make sure you and your hubby are on the same page and will not under any circumstances buy anything. Good luck and I hope it is just a legit win and the reason they want you to bring the hubby is because the TV is just too damn big to carry on your own!

It sounds like this is the same company. I'd completely stay away from them. What I tell companies like this is "how wonderful, my hubby and I both lost our jobs and exhausted all our savings, so we could sure use a free trip! They usually want you to have a combined income of $50,000 in order for you to collect your "prize"....uh, I don't think so!

Another company said that we won "steak knives" and that a student was on their way and would be here within the hour. But, in the meantime, could we answer questions to their survey. My husband said "how about after the student gets here with the knives, you can call me back"...never did get the knives or the call back! LOL
