I think that would be a great idea too! I somehow find myself missing some goodies here too. (Like the PC thing) If it is something that is an ongoing or longer offer (even if one per person) it may be cool to have a "best of" "golden fin" :hee freebie thread. Thinking about the space issue, posting links to these most requested items may save more space than 5 fishie posts asking about the original post. Just my 2 fish flakes for the day

I use the search button regularly to check back on contests I've won to see prize details & I've even used it to look up a couple of freebies that I originally ignored.
It's not very hard to figure out, in the "Refine Search Results" portion of the search page I pick "free" in the "Which Forums" section & then I pick "list message titles AND message excerpts" in the "Display Results How" section. That way you get the actual post you were searching for & not the entire thread.

It works really well. Maybe if more people were aware of how the search feature worked we wouldn't have so many fishies asking where to find stuff.

Yes, the search does work - but unless I'm swimming in the wrong direction I think people want a thread where they can find guaranteed freebies without actually knowing what they are called, e.g. "this is a great freebie for (insert the name of the freebie here) - it always comes & has no expiry date (insert link here)", or something along those lines. Perhaps a JuJu helper could give some advice on this?

Thanks Fossil! That's exactly what I was thinking of! (and since I'm not really sure how to go about it, I was kind of hoping someone who did could maybe offer suggestions?)

Oops, Sorry. The way I read it I thought we were trying to avoid having a bunch of people asking "where can I get that" every time someone posted that they received a freebie.

Today I received a $10 greyhound voucher from a survey I did....I am unable to use it and know of no one who needs it...

First one to pm me can have it...I will send it in the mail.....

It is good for $10 towards travel with greyhound on any greyhound canada route or for any greyhound courier express product....
