I don't know why they keep sending me the stupid things, I filled out one contest entry and now I am all of a sudden subscribed! I keep writing "no thank you, return to sender" on them but they keep reappearing in my mail box! I have even e-mailed them and they say that I don't have a subscription. Yeah right tell that to me when the bill is in my mailbox the next day!

Just thought I would let you know how my Aunt got rid of Reader's Digest. She wrote, in bold writing I might add, DECEASED! Makes me laugh every time I think of it as she is 86 but that worked like a charm! I also received a Canada Post note and when I went to pick it up I got the L'oreal Hi-light Styliste! Yay! Also received a sample of Vac Pack Storage bags today

That's what I received, too when I picked up my envelope at Canada Post. I find it funny that that 3 coupons for hair care products arrive via registered mail when a lot of much bigger prizes simply send a letter in regular mail.

The Vac Strip sample arrived along with the Living Well booklet (nice coupon in it), Glow magazine, the soup sample and my extra sauce order came in 2 days (WOW!) and 3 ebay wins. Two were great - the third was a $29.99 US used item and I owed $27.26 in duty and brokerage fees on it). I will never bid on another auction that uses UPS for shipping. We always have huge duty/customs/broker fees to pay when it comes via UPS.

Drives me NUTS!

I have found that too....UPS always seems to leave broker fees. In fact they actually sent my ex-roommate a letter in the mail after the fact telling her she owed money.

Yeah...UPS is the company that tried to charge me $145.90 brokerage for that catalog & button sample a few weeks back - I obviously had it sent back sight unseen.

I tried one soup this evening and liked it. I also opted for the alfredo sauce mix which I'll try tomorrow. It seems to be good stuff!!!
