Ok......the truth comes out....I'm a bit of a freak.

I didn't like Barbie Dolls, but I loooooved Barbie Accessories! The shoes, the purses, the little record player.

I remember I'd go to the toystore & ask for that & my family would FORCE me to get the stupid doll to go with the accessories. SHEESH.

Yeah, if you look in my closet today, you WILL find about 50 pairs of shoes & 20 purses...I'm sure that's just a coincidence!

hah. so many years and I still love LEGO! I remember making all sorts of whaky cars and tanks. yes, used to have one of those huge powered/geared construction sets. hehe. I remember those days, I really used to stress all those gears and winches! And training for remote controls on the wired remote controller

Oacs.

Interesting background info, Samwise...

Lol! No way!
Well I have a feeling you might really like this then:

Barbie's Playstation! And in a little pink carrying case of course

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Some of my favorite toys were, well....definitely Barbies but I pretty much dropped barbie when My Little Ponies came out!! I was seriously avid about those little ponies. Just last night I was going through some old toys at my Dad's house and I found these pony little roller skates!
I had a huge sticker collection too! HUGE!!
There was also Cabbagepatch kids, Strawberry Shortcake and Carebears.....but no crazy obsessions with those.
just wanted Joey because he was the first doll that was " anotomically correct". Oh, and if you fed him a bottle, he peed too, for some odd reason, that was the big draw.
Don't worry SBS
I had a massive crush on a transformer..... OMG!! I LOVED Transformers too! But they're just not the same as they were in the 80's....
GI-Joe with a Kung-Foo Grip!!!
Lego rules ... it's still my favorite. We actually had Brix-Blox ... just as much fun at about 1/10 the price of Lego.
Fisher Price Castle ... that little armor clad knight spent many an hour doing battle with the little pink dragon!!!
...Eddy :p
That was very cool, Ivy...thanks!
My niece has the Barbie 'do your makeup' cd rom - I play that with her when I visit.
The Barbie stuff they have now is muuuch cooler...except sometimes it's a little scary. I took my nieces to the Barbie store in downtown TO & one of them wanted an accessory set. It was a bathrobe & slippers & stuff and it came with a SCALE!!! There's a nice, healthy message to give an 8 year old girl, huh?
That reminds of the giant barbie head my sister had. it was to learn how to apply makeup to the barbie face
I remember that Gilsan! My friend had one of those giant Barbie Makeup heads. It was very cool, huh?
To this day, I still wear gobs of blue eyeshadow. (Oh? Did I type that out loud?)
My parents had this Buddha Statue (it was the 70's) and my sister used the makeup on it! It was very pretty in Blue Eyeshadow
