I just got an email from soulshine.ca telling me I've won a Kasabian CD. Don't know anything about them, but a win's a win, right?

Was at a local winter carnival this weekend and just recieved a phone call that I won a raffle for a broach and set of candles and won the silent auction for a huge Nascar collection of stuff for only $25.00. This day keeps getting better and better!

Hey cool! I won 4th prize. I think she said a floral bouquet, CDs, and an All Naturals gift basket. My story was a disaster too!

Just a side note. She emailed me back to say she had told me the wrong prizes! (I actually won 2 CDs and a DVD). She also reminded me that shipping is COD. Because the CD's aren't anything I want, I forfeited my prize. A bit disappointing. I am glad the flowers include shipping for you. You might want to check about the other stuff. I knew this rule when I entered, but figured I'd pay the shipping depending on the prize. (The contest didn't say what the other prizes were) I just can't justify paying shipping for something I don't want.

-Another side note! I ended up writing an email to the president to explain my disappointment about my being misinformed about what the prize is. They are going to ship my prize, which is actually 4 Cds, at no charge. Glad that worked out.

OMG!!! I just got a call from a girl from Todays Parent, telling me I just won a Nursery Suite valued at $7000. This is CRAZY!!! I am still in a state of complete shock .

I can honestly say now that if I don't win anything for the next year I am fine with it since this is pretty cool, and timing is great as well.

I just checked my boyfriend's e-mail & he has a note from Now Magazine letting him know he won a pair of wristbands for Canadian Music Week. I am SOOO excited, I've been bugging him all day to get tickets to see Soulfly tomorrow night & now we're going for free----I'm glad he didn't spend $70 on tickets!
Plus I got an e-mail from The Richmond Lounge letting me know I've won a pair of tickets for the next three live Thursday Jazz Nights & I also won 30 free minutes of long distance in North America.
