It's supposed to be 100-12, but I am wondering if somebody's secretary who failed math wrote the question because there is no earthly reason to put the brackets there in that case. They don't affect the answer or simplify the equation in any way.

I have a bunch of questions and am hoping some of those experienced contestors could help me.

There are several contests out right now that several members of my family would like to enter. Two are all ages and one is 13 and up. And others are 18 and up.

When the contest says one entry per person per day can they all enter?
We all share a computor but they have their own e-mail addresses (I insisted they will have to use those and actively check them).

They are getting eager to try and enter a few contests themselves but I don't want to be accidentally disqualified! So I haven't been letting them try...

I know when it says one per household they can't, but sometimes the rule says one per person or one per e-mail address....

I would appreciate your advise on this matter...

As long as it says one entry per person, you should all be okay entering. As you stated, if it says one per household then only one of you can enter. You go by the written rules as that's what's legal and they have to abide by them. Good luck!

Hi Enjoy! My reply is to read the official rules very carefully regarding eligibility -- if they say ‘per person’ or ‘per email address’ they can each enter. If they say ‘per family’ or ‘per household’ only one person can enter. You can also scan the contest rules for phrasing something like ‘. . . if contestant is under that age of **, parental consent is required.’ This will be good for the younger members of your family.
