A question about receiving winning notifications -

Has anyone ever received a notification for a reputable win from a 1-800 number? I never answer 1-800 numbers myself, but maybe I am missing out on some wins.

I know that anytime I have won a prize, I was not notified from a 1-800 number.

In all my years in the Bowl I have never heard of a single member reporting a real notification from a 1-800 number.

Thanks Dewcat! That puts my mind at rest.

I think I may have received one before when I lived in a small town. If you live in a big city like Toronto, Montreal, or Vancouver you most likely won't get a 1800 number but if it is long distance you might get one.

If you aren't sure about the number look up the person who the number is registered to on the internet. Usually from there, you can figure out if it is a legit call or nto.

I haven't. But that doesn't surpise me. I live in a smaller centre and just don't seem to ever meet the dynamics of their research groups. Hopefully some of our fishie cousins will have lucked out.

I did receive the Herbalicious samples but didn't get a code so I could comment on the product (which I really like, by the way). I've emailed Elle twice and still no reply.

My code came in an email - not with the products.....could you have missed that email? It had the link for where to enter the survey/contest. You have to upload a picture to be able to finish the survey.
