Directed by Panna Rittikrai, the writer and choreographer of Ong-Bak.
A depressed cop and a busload of athletes visit a small village to handout blankets and teddy bears, but a militant group takes the village hostage demanding the release of their General. Are the villagers and visitors gonna take this lying down? No way mister. It’s ass kicking time, using Muay Thai, Gymkata, and Shaolin Soccer styles.
It’s a pretty short movie and doesn’t waste much time. Goes from emotional hostage scenes to ridiculous action scenes. The fighting isn’t as good as what we saw in Ong-Bak, and the movie as a whole isn’t as good as Ong-Bak, but it’s still enjoyable.
The best thing about this movie are the crazy ass stunts involving moving vehicles, and I mean CRAZY ASS!
