In order for Cineplex to complete the Famous Players purchase it has to comply with the Competition Bureau's condition of selling 35 theatres across Canada. I wonder who will pick up those theatres?

And I'm guessing after the amalgamation is complete, movie ticket prices in the former FP theatres will increase to the level of Cineplex ticket prices. I hope I'm wrong.

I thought there was just one Famous Players in Burlington, the next nearest is either Oakville Mississauga Border or Ancaster.....there aren't any Cineplex Odeon theaters in Burlington.....again, Hamilton or Mississauga. So why would you be afraid of losing your job in Burlington when there is only one Famous Players there.....and hardly any competition?

Just a thought....
