Hmm, the article has nothing I didn't already know about the device, and I still dig it for a few reasons:
1) At $250US it is going to be probably less than a standalone PC to setup and do the same thing, uses less power, quieter, built in OS..
2) The UI sounds pretty slick from what I have read. Granted, with the cheap version of the PC you could get mythtv or whatever, but I've learned if the software isn't specifically targeted to an application, it usually doesn't do it very well..
Now, it is totally possible to config a pc to do the same thing, but at the very least it will be near the same cost, then there is factoring the time and annoyance to get the damn thing working.. I'd rather have something plug and play!
