My stance is "absolutely not". Anyone who agrees with the practice:
- does not take driving as seriously as they should
- is a careless driver anyway, and probably does not notice the difference between their driving with and without a cell phone
Since I do not believe there is a big enough difference in mental capability (i.e. to balance the tasks) between those who say "yes" and those who say "no", I think the personality defect is in the attitude they have towards driving and their opinion of how well they perform; the physical skills and ability are equal, or the difference is not the order of magnitude required to successfully balance the tasks.
