Why would a dog start to eat his own pooh again. hasnt done that in years and now all of a sudden starting agin. Disgusting. I know you can get the stuff to puton their food but what would cause it in the first place?

No clue why they do it but a lot of dogs do it. Or go after cat poop. I know my dog will try to get into the litter box when he can. He won't eat his poop but he'll eat other dogs' poop.

I'm sure you could find a lot of theories why they do it.
