I am new here, but thought this was interesting, as I am a childcare/lifeskills worker to children with disabilities.
For a long time now, Famous Players offered a companion pass to people with disabilities who arrive with someone (you have to ask). Stupidly, they changed that policy, and the person had to have some type of "assistive device" in order to qualify. I had many an arguement with these folks, as my clients could use their disabled parking spots (with a pass), but could not qualify Give me a break! I even threatened to put one of my kids with arthritis back into a stroller if necessary (much to the child's dismay), but nothing. Now, it seems they have relented, and the past few times, I have had no problem obtaining the pass. Guess they learned from their stupidity (or someone threatened a law suit!).
