I'm Canadian born but my husband is from the US so he is a landed immigrant.

I was born in Canada but my parents and sister immigrated from Hong Kong in the late 60s.

Both of my parents are from Holland, I was born here in Canada

I was born in Canada. My mom was born here too, and my dad came to Canada about 30 years ago.

What the difference between "landed immigrant" and a regular "immigrant"

A landed immigrant is an official status given to legal immigrants who are not Canadian citizens. You could become a citizen and still be an immigrant, though (ie-not born here)

That's called resident .

Landed Immigrant is the legal term for people who camed here following the Immigration process , legaly .

Immigrant is a more generic term who incorporate all immigrants no matter how they got here , legally , Illegally or refugees .

Or maybe it was 6 generations ago that were born in France, I don't remember, I wasn't there.

Well, let's see. Assuming that a generation is created on average every 25 years, that's 6x25 = 150 years, so yeah, that's possible, Europeans were established here by 1852.
