'Tis the season!

I'll be taking the kids trick or treating. Next your one of my friends is getting married. That should be interesting.

Sam I just read this thread from the beginning and my oldest son spent last Halloween also wearing a halter monitor! Talk about freaky coincidence!

We haven't decided who's taking the guppies out gouling yet. This is the first year one of us has had to stay home to hand out candy... Before this we were rural and both of us took the kids into town (hubby's parents' place actually) to scare folks. We were just takers and not givers..

That is weird. What's even stranger is that your second paragraph describes me to a tee as well.

I will be taking my little fish trick or treating! DD is going to be a kangaroo and DS is going to be a panda bear.

My oldest has decided he wants to go out as Mr. Bean, my middle son wants to be a hockey player and my daughter will again be a fairy princess complete with tiara, pink lame' wings and a pink tutu!

Love Hallowe'en,something about being eerily crafty. We started a new tradition last year with worms and eyeballs for dinner(spaghetti and meatballs). We usually have a few people over to get ready (they all want me to do their make up,I make awesome wounds if I do say so myself) I get addicted to decorating,stuffing clothes with paper and leaves ,creating heads for them, ghosts off the clothes line,etc. I have a hard time stopping once I start. It is just so fun,too bad it gets over so quickly. I wish it was always a week end thing.Costumes are always put together with value village finds and accesories from the buck store. I think it is more fun for me than the kids...

This year I was thinking about staying home and letting the kids go out together.. BUT NO.. I love seeing all the little children ( especially babies ) and the expressions on their faces.. Bumping into eachother.. running so fast to the next home that they end up on the ground laughing.. I don't know.. it's suppose to be something of a Pagan holiday but I see it as something wonderful.. All the laughter.. minus the cavaties....lol .. I might just dress up myself this year... ( MASK NOT NEEDED )

Hubby and I live above a business, and as such, have never had trick or treaters.

In the past, we would buy enough candy for a whole neighbourhood of kids..and then they don't show up...and there's all this candy left to eat....mini Coffee Crisps...mmmm

Oh, heck. who am I fooling? I know the kids won't come this year- but I'll buy up the goodies anyhoo.

the week b4 halloween the town i live in has a family dance so we are going to go to that and i'll be Wonder Woman...then on halloween hubby takes the kids out (unless my son figures he's old enuff to actaully WALK...prob not eh?) and i'll be handing out candy...i tend to like to wear rollers in my hair (not something i do normally) and run around in a house coat....thats my costume hehehehe
