Geez i just don't understand this why the cashiers and other customers get their undies in such a bunch over someone trying to save a few bucks. You know what picks my a**? The people that use their bank cards Visa's and pay with a cheque. This takes way more time than a few coupons.
My worst experience with this was at Boston Pizza unfortunatley I got in line behind 20 some teenagers all paying their bills seperately and not one of those little snot noses had cash i bet kids these days don't even know what cash looks like.lol



But my friend had rather a rude experience at Superstore. They are going through hard times and a family member gave them GC's to use at this store. Well if you don't spend it right to the last penny you don't get any money back. Well between this stuff and her coupons it was taking a bit of time. This old bat and her daughter and grandchild are behind my friend and the old bag is just a snorting away. Saying stuff that my friend couldn't quite make out and huffing and puffing. The baby is wailing and the cashier is apologizing. The baby knocks something over and my friend picks it up and hands it back to them. they say nothing so my friend says "that would be THANKYOU!!" She finally gets through and the old bag is still b****ing away. My friend takes her groceries out to her truck and then waits for the old bat and her daughter to come out. She says to them "you know what you were doing in there was extremely rude I'm sorry it took so long but some of us just can't afford to pay in any other way we have had a hard time lately and I needed to get my family some groceries" The old bag replies "Well some of us still have a 3 hour drive ahead of us to get home and a baby that is crying" My friend replies " well I guess that is your choice to shop at 8 pm just like it was my choice to come out at this time of the night and I should be able to enjoy my shopping trip with out rude people like you making a big fuss perhaps you should have considered shopping earlier" And then she left. I think in this day and age she was taking her chances saying stuff like that but I applaude her for having the b***s to say that to someone as there have been many a huffy bags behind me in line.

All I've got this week was the Neutrogena tanning sample (gee, that'll come in handy now), the Healing Garden sample, a free shopping list notepad from The United Way, a couple tiny samples of 2 body washes and 2 body lotions froom somewhere that I don't remember (homebased biz type thing). I used some of my freebie coupons this week to get Sobe and Oliveiri pasta and also used a coupon for Pepcid Complete (coupon was for $2, Pepcid was $2.77) and for Zantac (coupon for $1, Zantac was $1.98) .. ok, those were AlMOST free.
Today was actually the best tho ... Earlier this week, I had been to The Bay grocery store and bought 2 packs of Blue Ribbon coffee at a good price. It was horrible!! So this morning I phoned Blue Ribbon and complained, nicely, and the woman said she was gnna send me 2 coupons for free coffee. Then I phoned The Bay and complained, again nicely, and the grocery manager called me back and offered to refund me the original price PLUS he gave me 2 packs of Nabob Tradition as a replacemtn. Great deal if you ask me!!

Now I got LOTSSSSSSS of caffeine to last me the weekend.

What's with Bi***y old women?!? I was walking my dog once at this park by my parents' place. This granny had her grandkids with her & they'd pulled branches off trees & were swinging them. I didn't see them at first, but then 2 kids jumped out of the bushes screaming & swinging the sticks. My dog flipped out completely (she's a cocker spaniel, so no huge threat). Then, granny comes over with a stroller (by this time I picked up my dog & was trying to calm her down) & starts screaming at me about having a rabid dog! I was furious. I took a walk around the park. When I saw her again, she was glaring at me, so I went up to her & said "you tell me exactly what you'd do if someone five times your size threatened you with a stick?!? Don't tell me how to deal with my dog's instinctive reaction. Looks like you need to pay a bit more attention to the kid's you're supposed to be caring for."

I got tow more packs of window writers and the child safety kits.
