I Don't know about the rest of you, but I don't like buying Canadian release of DVDs that contain Bilingual content on the actual DVD box, I'm all for extra inserts that add the French stuff and that can be easily removed for those of us that don't want it (like how they did Simpsons packagaing).

I woulnd't even buy E.T in Canada because of the packaging, luckily I had a freind get it for me from the states.

Anyone have any clue on how the Family guy DVD will be packaged?

Thanks.

It's released by Fox, and Fox doesn't do bilingual packages.

The only studios that do are: Alliance Atlantis, Universal, Dreamworks and Paramount.

Question. Is Family Guy ever coming back? Usually after football season ends, new episodes are back. Is it done for good?

yup, cancelled last year I think.

I think teletoon is still showing the old episodes but they're not making any more.

Too bad... that show was hilarious, I cant believe they ever cancelled it.

If one wants American packaging, nothing is stopping anyone from ordering from the United States.

Would you like some cheese with your Whine!

First off I speak French, and love living in a bilingual city, I would never want to leave Montreal..there is so much culture here compared to other Canadian cities, affordable housing, wide variety of food, great night life and beautiful women are a few of the perks, all we need now is Hot dog vendors like Toronto and I'll be in heaven.

It is my choice to prefer English only packaging, and the whole reason I started this thread was to determine whether ot not I would be required to purchase it from the United States..and luckily I won't have to, so I really don't understand your point.

What are you talking about? Someone already confirmed that it will be English only packaging..please don't add any more to this thread, you've been of no help to anyone.

Mebbe its an eastern thing but none of the DVDs I have bought out here in the west coast (the best coast :up have french on em. The most they ever have is a sticker on the wrapper saying "Now with french subtitles!" or something like that.. Easily disposed of, problem solved!

Now if a movie had to have the title in french (usually just swapping the order of some words, and eu -> ue) that would be kind of lame. But it never does, so who cares.
