I will definately post my package arrival. I'm only troubled at the fact that you, who went through the work to organize this, may feel upset if things don't work out as hoped. So, don't panic. We all knew what we were in for here with an exchange across the miles with unknowns. Its all in good fun and I'm sure I can speak for everyone saying THANKS!!!

Ah, but insurance is only good if Canada Post loses your item. It does not insure it against breakage.

I mailed something to Ontario (from BC) in August of this year, the package arrived dinged and broken. All Canada Post did was appologize. Seems the insurance they sell is only in case of loss, not in case of damage.

Was NOT impressed. Though, I was impressed at the store in which I had purchased the item here in BC (Carlton Cards), their store in Ontario replaced the broken item with no problem!! Now THAT'S Customer Service!!

You're very welcome...but i do take it personally if everyone doesn't have a gift by the 14th! But everyone has assured me that their gifts have been mailed....so i guess it's in Canada Posts uncapable hands....just keep me posted and i'll try not to stress.

Still waiting for 20 people to get their gifts......(which out of 83 isn't all that bad...but you know me....i want everyone to get their gifts....)

Have you been talking to my parents? it was written more then once for me not to open it until the day. lol

Down to 18 now... don't fret too much termit, there's still lots of time left for gifts to arrive. I'm sure eveything will work out just fine.

Thanks jennandlincoln, it's here safe and sound. I love your little note behind the address label... what a cute idea! I did the same thing thing with your gift as well in that most gifts are wrapped, but some aren't. Did you open the box yet?

Ah jennandlincoln... too funny!!! I just noticed your comment about the cat hair and laughed out loud! I would have written the exact same thing if I wasn't so embarrassed by it. I was even thinking this morning: "I wonder how much of the true shipping weight is actually cat hair?" <--- This was before your package arrived. My vacuum's been broken for a week now, but even if my house were in tip top condition... you still can't get away with wrapping on the floor without including the eqivalent of about a dozen hairballs!!

Speaking of hair - Lupey, I don't think there's any in your package, but in case you're wondering, it's a German Shepherd, Rottweiller, Lab Cross... She's my 55lb. lap dog (married the hubbie, she came with him), named "Chance".

I'm sure every week when we do the cleaning, we vacuum & sweep up another dog!

Tellula wanted me to post (her computer is still down...) that she got her gift from SweetNHoney!! She says she can't wait!

Good I won't feel so bad if some hairs got stuck on the tape then. We have a sheppard/husky cross (Chassy) & a pure black cat (Chilly, cause he comes from a town called Coldwater)here. So I won't notice any extra hairs
