Anyone know cc_2? I have been trying to contact her, but no response, hoping she enjoyed the gift I sent her. . . and of course hinting at the delivery of mine!!! Anyone else still waiting for a gift?

I didn't participate this year . . .or last for that matter - but I must admit you all sounded like you had a great time. Unfortunately, I've noticed a few people that seem to want to receive but not to give . . . and that's not in the spirit of this at all. If you couldn't get up the ambition to do a little shopping - then don't put your name in. I'm usually run ragged with extracurricular activities - hockey, timekeeping, crafting, socializing - that I barely have time to do my own and that's why I don't enter. But, next year . . . maybe. Just don't give my name to bigmomma or someone like her!

Wishing all the participants good cheer and few tears!

Llsaro

i didn't participate either (unfortunately.) but i will next year! anyways, i agree with Llsaro... christmas is about sharing! and although they say "it is better to give than to recieve" if you put your name in, and they send YOU something...not returning the favour (after you said you would) is just plain mean, if you ask me! besides, it's not obligitory to sign up 4 the xmas exchange; meaning you did it *willingly*...so why say something (&get some fishies' hope up...) if you won't fulfill that promise? that's just my 2 cents...don't wanna offend anyone...i just find it unfair that some fishies put their heart and soul into making/buying a nice gift...and didn't get 1 in return...well, merry christmas everyone...i'll you guys some nice things @ the next xmax exchange...promise!

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU.
It brightened my mood!!!!!

it was a great break from studying, opening the gift.
Thanks Termit for organizing and tlynn for the gift.

I am glad you liked your gift. Thank you for my little cabinet shelf. It is sooo cool - mind you my son thinks it is a good hiding place for his sisters dinosaurs..... He is such a torment. And he has claimed the christmas towel as his since it is red. It got here in one piece by the way. Thank you!

Hey everyone....just a quick update...

I'm glad everyone had such a great time with the exchange. I know there are a couple of you still waiting for gifts for various reasons....but unfortunately it is out of my hands.

I've got a really bad case of the flu now and with just having had my baby i feel awful. So I'm sorry there just isn't time for me to hunt down the one or two that are left. I feel really really terrible though and all i can say is please contact your partners yourselves. That is also why i haven't answered some of the pm's.
I'm not meaning to leave you stranded but to be honest i just don't have the energy right now to hunt them down for you. I hope everyone understands and i tried to do my best but for this year i have done all i can.

I hope everyone has a great Christmas.
Jenn

Hey Termit,
Ahh, these things happen. There was this chance for everyone. Thanks for all you did to try and get everyone a gift on time or at all. Don't feel bad as it's everyone's own responsibility to play their part. You went above and beyond here and I am glad so many DID receive and all went so well. This hasn't deterred me at all from doing this again. These things happen. I still hope my partner enjoyed her gift. Perhaps I will have better luck next year.
Take care all and Merry Christmas!

Nope, nothing here either and my partner hasn't returned my pm's or emails but is receiving and viewing the notes. I feel silly contacting her about it - like I'm begging. I have given up - I got the hint.

Aww thats very sad. And quite rude of your partner to not at least say SOMETHING. We are understanding fishies, and an explanation is much better than nothing.

That totally sucks! I believe in karma and what goes around comes around. PM your address to me. I think Santa may have left something here for you.

I agree with Cricket. And whoever your partner was - should be very VERY ashamed of herself. To put it bluntly - I think we've discovered a new breed here in the bowl . . . and it's the IGNORAMUS breed! If I sign up next year, I hope I get someone who got rotten bait this year and I'll try to make it up to them!

:)
