my mom and brothers gave me my gift a couple of weeks ago in case we didn't meet up due to weather - lots of cash. and got $50 gift certificate for swiss chalet from work. met up with a gf and her kids last week for some dinner at a restaurant so i could give her kids my presents and she gave me future shop gift card.

Nice! I've given up on trying ribs anywhere else - no matter where I go, they just don't compare to the Chalet's!

I got an early christmas eve present from hubby. It is an electric fireplace stove, now I can sit by the fire--so romantic--

So far it has been a VERY profitable Christmas for me.

- friend gave me $ 60.00 cash

- Got my Tim Horton's can (40th anniversary of course)

- Last night emergency vet didn't charge me after Basset got attacked (my best present.)

The most important thing I will get this year is to be able to spend time with my 3 adult children (no grandchildren yet). I'm not ready for the "G" word - grandma. I also have a couple of very special friends that I will be spending time with and I really don't care if they get me anything.

Hubby got me a new sewing machine ~ YAY!!!
It's our little guy's first Christmas, so it has a very different feeling for us this year... a whole new meaning.

I can post all my gifts from my hubby, because I bought them all lol

He works 6 days a week and somtimes 7 so shopping was not something he could do this year, but thats ok!

I got a recumbent excerise bike, (my big gift)
plus a ROOSTER cookie jar, some other goodies, makeup, 10ct gold hoops, cd etc.

We also got a deep fryer and coffee perc. from my inlaws.

Not sure what my mom and dad got me, its big and heavy!

My daughter is wound for sound, wanted to go to bed early so Santa will hurry and come!

She will be bouncing tomorrow morning!

Yes, I like swiss chalet ribs too. Much better in the past couple of years compared to before. I did notice a price increase a few mths ago. I've purchased the frozen yellow box no name brand baby back ribs from No Frills and they are very good and meaty.

We will probably head to St. Louis Bar & Grill this week in which case I may try their ribs since I hear they're good. Oh, and I guess I have to get back to the gym too.

Well actually the one thing I didn't get I bought for myself on Boxing Day. It's a super retro gym bag, I'm totally in love with it. Lol!

My boyfriend totally spoilt me this year!
He gave me my first cashmere sweater and my first designer wallet! I've never owed a wallet that cost more than $20 this one was like $300.
And him and my sister both gave me gcs for the spa, so I'm getting a facial and a massage in the new year.

Got lots of other good loot, but those are my favorites.

I've never had the ribs at Swiss Chalet.... I'll have to try them. I like the precooked ribs from M&M though. Kind of expensive but really good warmed up on the BBQ.

Hubby got a leather coat from me, his traditional turtles, cool mints and Terry's orange chocolate ball from the kids.

I got a 20" gold chainlink necklace from hubby, and leather gloves from the kids. Hubby took 9 an 8 year old shopping at 1pm on Dec. 24 I told myself better him than me But according to them the stores weren't as bad as they had expected.

Kids received a DVD player ($49.99 at Can. Tire in August) from us. Santa brought a Robosapien, loop-the-loop race track, books, TMNT, Pokemon stuff, Mega Bloks, .... and a Air Hockey table. Santa was real good.

Yowsa, a $300 wallet?? Is it LV? I can't imagine having such an expensive wallet. I'd choose a $20 wallet with $280 inside. That would buy a lot of ribs

I got a new 44 gallon corner aquarium, hubby got the expected paintball gear and 7 year old got an xbox that hubby has been playing since christmas day. My son really wanted a Terrain Twister but they were virtually impossible to find around here!

Santa was good to us here too. Oldest got a home gym for his football workout routine, middle son got a snowboard, bindings and boots and our daughter got a kareoke machine. Santa brought me a charm bracelet and several nice outfits I was admiring. Hubby got his new goalie mask. Lots of dvd's and cd's for the kids too!
