Walmart in Halifax has it for 25.48 and the 150% Staples pricematch brought it to 21.47 + tax

This is not a country-wide bargain. Checked here in Quebec today and it was $34.83.

What sort of evidence of the competitor's price do you have to bring into staples?

I asked the cashier (couldn't find a customer service desk). She asked me Wlamrt's price and I told her. She called the manager to override...she did .. they dind't even call Walmart. Smoothest transaction ever.

Not sure if anyone would be interested in this, but on my T4 I got a sticker saying I could use quicktaxweb for $14.95.. I used it last year and it was quite good, and it carried over all my data from last year too. It has the RRSP optimizer and all that stuff as well.

Might be of interest to people who only need to prepare one return anyway..
