Ok, We are a few weeks into Season 3 Of the Apprentice.
Book Smarts -vs- Street Smarts. SO I am curious about who is watching (Besides me) and what people think.

I can't believe the stupid things that happen on this show. If I were on there and I was a project manager I would fire people on my team that were acting like a$$es. I don't know if they have that option on a task or not but OH Holy They should.

There has been so much attitude this season so far, I can only imagine what will happen for the remainder. I am betting no one will be stupid enough to say again, "Mr Trump... I think you should fire me." and then try to take those words back later in the conversation.. geez Be a little crazier eh?
Hmm.. Doesn't dove want people in chefs uniforms washing cucumbers to sell their soap? mmm how about running a race and putting soap all over your face? my that IS refreshing.
I cringed over and over during that episode.
Almost as much as watching them throw away toilets on the motel project, trying to work at Burger king, Promoting Coffee. Its un-imagineable that people can suck at a project so much.. and every week they out-do the week before.
The things people think up for our tv viewing. *sigh*
Gotta love reality tv.

Maybe they're sucking because they're not getting enough sleep.

I watched every season up til this one...would have liked to cuz they switched it up a bit....but I just don't have the time!

If it came out on DVD I would definitely rent it to watch one rainy weekend. But I already have so many other shows to fit into my schedule I had to make some cuts.

There is Season 1 Available on Dvd now. I am sure the other seasons will be following soon.

This one is so funny!! The street smarts side is totally kicking butt, I think this one is funny. I liked the episode where they had to make a commercial for bodywash, and both teams lost, and Donald told them their work was crap, and that they all sucked! he he he, such is life when you have nothing to loose!

I don't want to ruin the show for those who really like this season, but I'm going to outline below why I stopped watching the Apprentice.

I watched the first 3 episodes of this season, after watching the last 2 seasons religiously and just gave up.

The first season was amazing. It was fresh, unique and wasn't as "pablumy" as other reality TV shows. You could put yourself in their shoes to think about what you would do in their situation.

The second season started to dumb things down and get greedy with the product placements. It was very obvious based on the Donald's "lesson of the week" who was going to win and they spent more time in the boardroom and bickering than planning and executing a business plan. The finale really ticked me off the way they dragged it on and on and on.....

This season I started watching it jaded. It had to impress me for me to stick with it and IMHO it got even worse than last year. Now it's all about personality conflict and product endorsement. It is obvious who is going to lose because you almost never see the winning team at all. They just focus on all of the negative and uglyness with none of the positives and cleverness that was shown in the first season.

It seemed really obvious to me that they chose the contestants not because they represented the best, but because they had personalities that would conflict and make for entertainment of the lowest kind.

Just my opinion. It's really a shame because I used to really, really love this show.

Anyway.... yeah, I agree with you. This season of the Apprentice is more of a circus than ever.

I've watched alot of episodes this season even though the contestants weren't the cream of the crop. I think Amy or Nick from season 1 would have whooped all their @sses and come out the winner.

So I guess Kendra is the winner? Tana came off looking like a real fool after the last challenge, I just can't see Trump hiring her. And where did this potty mouth come from in this episode, they must have done alot of previous editing. Overall, this season was pretty disappointing. Too much personal fluff and issues that don't belong in the business world.

I can't wait for the Apprentice - Martha Stewart in October. I love Martha!

I am glad to see that a woman is making it as the apprentice. (Just as a change from what they have done before)
But ... I guess though, If a woman didn't make it before then the other women just weren't up to par with the men that made it to the final 2. Such a change this season 2 women in the final 2.
2 people who I really didn't expect to see either of them make it this far. I can't quite say who I would pick for the Apprentice out of these 2. I think either of them could be a very bad choice.
If more is used to judge then just the final task, It could be in Tana's Favour. Kendra got in a lot of spats over the past 16 weeks. Tana seems quite hokey though and I wasn't impressed with her turnaround attitude in the last show that was on last night. I think saying she deserved it because she left her family to do it and Kendra has nothing, I think that was a cheap shot and since when does that make you a better person?
Yes, maybe you can admire her for doing that, BUT it doesn't make her better then Kendra just because she is single.
