Tom Cruise is such a creep in my opinion. I predict that he will be the next "Wacko Jacko".

By the way, did any of you see when Tom Cruise "kills" Oprah? It's funny as hell!

He's Nuts I tell you - just NUTS.....

OK - I found Tom in those days of "Risky Business" and loved him. Didn't follow him through all his movies through the years, but still thought he was an ok actor and star. My respect for him as an actor/person went downhill major when him and Nick split up. There was something about that -that just said "wow", and and I honestly think Nichole was stunned along with the general public on this one. It was like he totally switched sides on her or something? I dunno, and it's none of my beewax, but she sure seemed surprised and shocked about the whole ordeal herself. All I remember he said about it was "Nik knows why." Ok. But I honestly don't think she did, or saw it coming. I have great respect for her for keeping her head together and raising those two kids as normally as she can.

I never watch Oprah - but I happened to be home that day that Cruise was on. What a sight - I was blown away by this man's antics. And then, on top of it all - later to critic other people on their life and meds, and just has no idea - never been there, can't go there - How Dare You. !!! Man you are WAY out of line. PERIOD.
He is committing suicide right now - Box Office celeb no more. He's on the same page as MJ now (imo), don't touch him because he is hazardous to his career and anything associated. It's too bad, but his head got waaayyy to big to be a smart person. Keep your personal convictions/beliefs to yourself. Not everyone is going to agree/convert with you. As far as Katie goes, I just honestly think this is just taboild trashy and stuff. I'm with the "Save Katie" folks, she's just too young and cute to throw it all away on him. Too bad she hasn't got it yet. I'm hoping she'll clue in soon, get a brain, and walk away. Scary people. Brrrrrrr....

I've noticed for awhile that Tom Cruise is a ticking time bomb. He gets very passionate about Scientology, & that, along with the fact that he's not very intelligent, makes him come off looking like a He has a learning disability, dyslexia, I believe, & I think he also has ADHD, making him look, unfortunately, manic at moments like this. I actually thought this thread was about TomKat... which I think is a publicity stunt, & his recent post-partum comments are also just more press for him. For celebrities, any publicity is good.

Why be a hard rock, when you can be a GEM?

A learning disability, dyslexia, and ADHD eh? I should tell him those things don't exist and he should be exercising more.

Okay, so I read the interview but finally was able to take the time from my two little ones to SEE the interview. Yikes!! I think he may be suffering from some kind of post traumatic stress. Not to worry though, it can all be corrected with a little excercise and vitamins. EXCERCISE AND VITAMINS What the...? I still think he is entitled to his own opinions and agree that he still puts one pant leg on at a time and there is way too much emphasis put on the star thing. However, in light of that, I think he may have over done this. He comes across as a guy who is an authority on everything, and though it is nice to see someone so passionate in this day and age about his beliefs I think people would be more encouraged to look into this scientology thing without someone who appears to be suffering from a bad case of foot-in-mouth disease!

yeah, you really have to see it to get the intensity of it all. I guess he's always been that intense kind of guy. I saw the oprah special where they had her producers on as guests talking about their favourite moments (I'm not normally home at that time but I've been watching it a lot more lately since hubby set up a computer in the living room to tape the shows).

One of the producers was talking about tom cruise and how he's so magnetic because he does have that intensity about him where if you meet him personally, he really looks you in the eye and it doesn't matter what you're saying, he is able to genuinely act as if it is the most interesting thing anybody has ever said.

you ever meet people like that? really engaging and it really makes you feel really listened to and good about yourself to be around them, very charismatic. I think Bill Clinton has that kind of magnetizing magic too - it's what made him appeal so much to the common man - and probably how he was able to woo women too...

Anyway, i think a healthy dose of that makes for good social skills, but too much of it and you come off as crazy intense and almost manic... and it seems he's went off the deep end - too much of a good thing.

Life is not a dress rehearsal.

Yes - but he seems to have lost that too - at any rate he now seems to act as if what HE says is the most interesting thing & anything else is said by morons! "Matt, Matt, Matt ...you're glib" doesn't sound as if he found anything interesting about
that conversation

I liked some of his movies but didn't have any concerns until lately. He is professing scientology, THAT scares me. It wouldn't be so bad if they kept their beliefs to themselves, but noooooooo. I think the man has gone off the deep end. Poor Katie, she's in for it. I don't know, maybe it's her bag too, but I hope not. She has a bright career ahead of her if Tom doesn't mess it up.

There should have been another option:

Is Tom Cruise a delusional brainwashed cultist who blindly follows and preaches cultist dogma

He follows a religion dream up by a sci fi writer who was just looking to make a few bucks, get some power and have a laugh.

Well, I guess Tom gets to "put his money where his mouth is" - seeing as Katie is pregnant. Think we all should maybe keep our fingers crossed that she doesn't suffer from post partum depression? And spare a little sympathy for that new little Scientologist entering the world

Apparently Katie won't use anything for the pain during childbirth because of his Scientology beliefs. If a woman wants natural childbirth that's one thing but because of him? I'll bet if he had to push out the baby, he'd change his tune!
