Hi there,
I just got an email saying I have won the third prize in the “OXY & WEST 49 CONTEST” , but I can't remember entering any such contest. I tried to look it up on line but have come up empty.
Was wondering if anyone remembers this contest, and if they could provide a link to it.

One (1) second prize will be awarded. The winner will receive a $500 shopping spree at any participating West 49 store. The $500 prize amount does not include taxes.
6. Twenty five (25) third prizes will be awarded. Each winner will receive a West 49 Canadian Open Battle of the Brands signature skateboard.
7. Fifteen (15) fourth prizes will be awarded. Each winner will receive two (2) day passes to the West 49 Battle of the Brands event. The event will be held September 29th – October 1st, 2006 in Hamilton, Ontario, Canada. Passes will only be valid
for one (1) day of the three day event based on date availability. Transportation to and from the event will not be provided.
8. To be eligible, entries must be received on or before 11:59p.m. (EST) on the contest closing date of August 1st, 2006. The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. is not responsible for any entries which are incomplete, lost, destroyed, delayed, or not transmitted due to technical failure, however caused.
9. Forty-three (43) prize winners will be selected on Wednesday August 2nd, 2006 at approximately 1:00 p.m. (EST) by a random draw. All eligible entries will be entered into a pool from which a random draw will be conducted by the independent contest organization at approximately 1:00 p.m. (EST) in Toronto, Ontario on the dates specified above. The selected entrants will be notified by phone or e-mail within 72 hours of the draw. In the event that a selected entrant does not comply with these Contest Rules and Regulations, or cannot be reached within 72 hours of the draw, an alternate entrant will be selected from the remaining entries. The odds of winning are dependent on the total number of eligible entries received.
The prize must be accepted as awarded, is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash. The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. reserves the right to substitute any portion of the prize with a prize of equal value whatsoever. All federal, provincial and municipal taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner.
10. This Contest is open to all residents of Canada, excluding residents of Quebec and excluding employees of The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. and their respective interactive, advertising and promotional agencies, persons with whom any of the above are domiciled and/or members of their respective immediate families.
11. The prize winner must sign the Waiver/Release of liability as a condition to and in advance of receiving the prize in favour of The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. and the other sponsors such that none of them shall be liable for the use or misuse of the Prize. The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. and the other sponsors assume no responsibility for the participation in the contest, or any liability, claims, demands, actions, loss, damage or personal injury that may be sustained by the winner of the Prizes.
12. Participation in the contest constitutes permission to The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. and the sponsors and their agencies to use the name, photograph and/or likeness of the winner for the purposes of promotion, advertising, and trade without further compensation.
13. By participating in this contest, all entrants agree to be bound by these Rules and Regulations. The decisions of the contest judges are final. The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. and the sponsors are not responsible for any typographical error in the printing, the offering or the administration of the contest. The Mentholatum Company of Canada Ltd. reserves the right to withdraw or terminate the contest at any time without prior notice or to change the Rules and Regulations. Contact or correspondence will occur only with selected entrants. This contest is subject to all Federal, Provincial and Municipal Laws and regulations.
