I just stumbled on this website... seems like a good deal, you get cash rebates on many retailers, just by linking through them first.

Great Canadian Rebates

Tons of shopping categories and merchants like Dell, Canadian Tire, Chapters, etc. LOTS of stores and coupons.

I'm assuming its like the airmiles shops where you get airmiles, but here instead you get cash back rebates via Paypal or cheque.

I havent signed up yet, so if there are any fishies that have, please PM me.

I'd be really curious to hear if anyone else has used this. It almost seems too good to be true.

Well it does seem too good to be true but I figured, since I posted, I'll be the guinea pig and I'll sign myself up! I'll let my fellow fishies know how things go. And if anybody else signs up, let me know how it works for you!

I signed up and it looks pretty cool. I placeda few bids on ebay.ca and got 5 cents a bid. my balance is up to $2.50 without spending a dime.

Hey, been a member here for a while.. six month or more I think. I've gotten paid twice. Its awesome. Ordering photos from Snapfish and Shutterfly gave me money for signing up. eBay bids, win or lose. I signed up for zip.ca, and canceled after 2 the two week trial but still made 20$ on that!!!

You also get money from the people your refer on their purchases. So if anyone wants my email to use for a referal pm me. Much appreciated.

So far so good with the site. I love it. My paypal account does to.

Awesome, I just signed up and got $2 from using another fishie as a referral. I know GFL frowns on promo posts but for those of us that choose to refer people, please PM me and we can all make a few $.

I was on Anandtech yesterday and saw another Canadian cashback site. dealguild.com. Might be worth checking out. Their rates seem a bit better than GCR. (I also found out about Goldfishlegs in that thread too!) Anandtech thread

So how does a referral work? Do both the referal and referer get $ for just signing up or is it just a %age of the sales?

Both. The person the refered would get percentage of the person that just signed up, and anyone they refered as well. But the signer up gets the toonie and everything else, ie 5cent an ebay bid or 3 percent from chapters online, (well, that's how greatcanadianrebates.ca works) So the refering person would get 10 % of anything the person he/she refered made.

Lol.. Oops.. my kid hit reply. There is a site I love, I've made over $60 so far, just from ebay bids win or lose and Chapters, Shutterfly, Snapfish, Vonage... the list goes on and on.
