Sorry Lara, it's really not possible. This would affect "post counts" and most members would be up in arms if their posts just started disappearing and their post counts went down.
We DO try to remove reposts when we notice them and to move non-relevant posts to appropriate threads but, keeping in mind that mods do this on a totally voluntary basis and also have lives, we may miss some. We also ask members, on a frequent basis, to check that their posts are valid and that the links work and to post conversation in the "outside the bowl" section. Member co-operation can really help reduce clutter.
New posts (since your last visit) are highlighted in green, so you can just start where you left off, or, alternatively, start at the end of the thread where the newest posts are, and work your way back, as time permits.
