Termit, don't take this the wrong way, but I have 2 words with regard to your 14 degrees above zero comment... "bite me."

Our high tomorrow (need I remind you this is supposed to be beautiful, balmy Victoria) is supposed to be -3 with a windchill of -15.

We have 3 feet of snow on the front lawn and the dog got lost in it. Then the toddler roamed out to chase after the dog and got stuck.

Would you like me to make you a snowball and mail it??

Sorry cthebear.. 15 degrees here today, i actually had to pull the kids fall coats back out because they were too hot at recesss.

Same kind of weather here termit lol , not really very christmassy hard to get into to it when its going to be +14 here tomorrow , and nooooo snow.
There must be some kind of mix up in the weather between BC and Atlantic provences lol.
Iv been to Comox when it has snowed only an inch, poor poor people its like dumping snow in florida nobody quite knows how to deal with it even the snow plough drivers have a hard time of it , the only ones that realy enjoy it is the kids lol. Very snow challanged right cthebear.

Wow, decks would be really slippery in hail wouldn't they? So curly, are you all "decked" out for Christmas yet? Have you "decked" quiltnanny yet? How many "decks" of cards do you have? "Deck the Halls with Boughs of Holly..." My brother-in-law's nickname is "Dec", short for Declan...

Hubbie shovelled one car out (1/2 the driveway), took him 2 hours. Am sure the other half will take the same or he'll let it melt.

We're supposed to get more snow tomorrow night then warm up to 10 degrees above zero on Thursday.

I wouldn't mind it at all if I wasn't afraid to fall and go into early labour. I love snow (last blizzard we had was 9 years and 11 months ago), but I don't love snow in the state I am - ie a little unbalanced (front to back, not mentally!!)

Mind you, it's beautiful, tranquil & calm outside. Pitty the people without power due to branches falling on them, boathouses collapsing, cars rolling due to speed... And it's not even December!

Though I'm getting tired of being at home - want to go back to work, I miss it (now I'm unbalanced). Off all last week due to stomach flu, in & out of hospital. Aaahhhh!!! Much better now, but miss my team at work!

The deck has begun it's heartless attack........As was afore mentioned, hail makes the deck angry, but knowing this, I was sure to be careful......unfortunately, my 11 year old was unaware of the evil hulks intentions. She now has......oh I can't say it, it's too terrible! She has........a very wet bum! Shudder!

I know how you feel, Termit. I went to work at 4:30 this morning, and was looking at the decorations on the neighbour's lawn. It just seems wrong to look at reindeer, the Grinch, and a giant snowman sitting on GRASS!!

It is raining now, and freezing as it hits. The road looks like it is made of glass, and the steps are so slippery the dog fell back down them trying to come in. I had to go to the dentist, and bravely offered to come in next week so he could go home early, but he declined. I therefore had to go OUT in this stuff!!

You can HAVE it!! It is still snowing and since yesterday we have almost a foot!! Highways are good but the city is absolutely stupid. If I had a sled pulled by reindeer with cleats it would be great.

My mom has a friend in Surrey, BC who told her to pass the pictures he took near his home along to me. (He knows I love snow!) I wrote him back and told him he was mean, mean, mean to keep it all!!

Well, if it makes you feel better, Termit, it is plus 4 and RAINING here. That is wrong too. OK, all together now!!

I just wish there was some way to keep it off the highway.

Now we're supposed to get 10-15cms more of the white stuff.
