Does anyone remember way back the gift with registry online at Linen and Things? They gave you a muffin pan, spatula and spoons?

I got it two weeks ago after forgetting I had even done it.

In anycase, when I got home from work today there was a letter from Fed Ex Ground. A bill for 21.00!

I was wondering if anyone else who recieved the "gift" got this bill. I'm going to have to pay it.

Ths show was cancelled so it wasn't aired on tuesday night. I'm not sure how they are going to choose winners for the two Pirate Master contests they were running.

I received the Calphalon gift quite a few months ago - totally free! Wonder what they are charging for now - shipping?

It says its for a Custom's Clearance Charge. I've searched 3 forums I've seen this posted on and not one mentions having to pay. Now I haven't a clue what to do.

i get a different answer....my son has reminded me that you do brackets first, then multiplication and division, then additiona nd subtraction...

10000/1000 = 1000, multiply it by the 2000 = 2000, add the 5000 = 7000, subtract the final 1000 = 6000

so he says final answer should be 6000

except 10000/1000 isn't 1000, it's 10

That's the method everyone else used too. The problem with your answer is that 10000/1000 equals 10 NOT 1000
and you also multiplied by 2000 wrong.

PS-Don't help your son with his math
