It has been a good week so far.
Wins have been a lot more frequent lately.....
Since Saturday, we have won a gc to a local restaurant, $25, two Christmas bazaar wins, $25 and $50 value, $50 Sunoco gas gc, and the complete works of Stuart Mclean, $200, from Penguin books!

I too received the same email, but they want a photocopy of an official photo (drivers licence/passport) sent in with my declaration forms (I don't drive or have a passport)

What? I won and they didnt ask for this But you Can get Govt ID(here on PEI at least) with your picture on it like a Drivers Licence. My daughter needed picture ID for a trip she went on when she was 14 and got one..

they have changed the release forms from the first few times they drew names . I won yesterday and yes they want the ID.
yet a couple of friends won 2 weeks ago and they didn't need to have it, strange they would want photo ID for just toys with the highest value of 50.

personally I don't play the game..I do not think you have to...to be an hour's winner...just log in with your email address, password and upc #, and sit back to win..;-))

i think giving one's driver's license should NOT be asked for..this is a private item. I would question them on this request!

I think someone else was allowed to use some type of mail with their address on it.

They are likely doing this to prevent people from winning more than allowed.

I would also think it it to prevent multiple winners. For example, if one person enters multiple email addresses thet they check themselves, its easy for one person to win several. This way they can confirm it is a unique person winning each time.

If you are uncomfortable, ask if you can send a copy of the ID with the master ID number blanked out, only showing the photo and address.
